Today I found a new CPR technique called Continuous Chest Compression(CCC). The idea behind it is , that the adult body general has enough oxygen in the lungs to sustain life during attempted resuscitation and it is much more pertinent to survival to keep the blood pumping to the brain by performing continuous chest compression. So far this new technique has shown promising results with an increase of survival ,of individuals suffering cardiac arrest, from 14% (traditional CPR) to 23% (CCC), Hope you enjoy.

I'd just leave this to somebody else, too afraid
ReplyDeletethis is really helpful because that 9% can determine whether a person lives or die.
ReplyDeletehow old is that method?
ReplyDeleteWeird, I always knew CPR was iffy
ReplyDeletenice, but 23% still isn't enough man.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Naj, and little bit is helpful.
ReplyDeletea little goes a long way..
ReplyDeleteNice to know !
ReplyDeletealways wanted to take CPR classes but I'm too afraid of killing someone by accident. :(

I overheard once though that CPR and all that is just an exercise to alleviate guilt if the person dies. This seems to make sense though.

This is great. Just reupped my CPR certification for my job and our instructor mentioned this.
ReplyDeleteThey change the "official" method every damned year!
ReplyDeleteNice technique, I think they should just perfect the original.
ReplyDeleteThis is something that EVERYONE should know - CPR, although in a constant change of flux, will save lives, regardless of which "official" version you know.
